In December 2021, I took a 5-day trip to New York City with my family and stayed in the Upper West Side. The Christmas season in NYC is really something special and it was great to get out walking around Upper West Side, Central Park, Soho/The Village, and Hudson River Park. I think my best photos turned out to be black & white. NYC in winter really lends itself to monotone with its old architecture, urban life, and gray skies. NYC is by far my favorite street photography. Wherever I looked there was something worth shooting and I ended up using 5 rolls in 3 days. Hope you enjoy these shots as much as I did taking them.
